Marisol had to move to Panama while her mother finished medical school. She lived there for a year. When she came back she felt things could still be the same. She moved closer to her best friend Magda and lived in a bigger house ! But things were not even close to the same. Magda had hung out with two girls, Marisa and Elizabeth, who hated Marisol. Marisol didn't know why but they did. The worst part about it was that Magda told them Marisol's situation, and how she couldn't afford a quincanera. Marisa and Elizabeth laughed in Marisol's face and said rude comments about her! It made me mad when I read this. Those girls are really rude and so is her so called best friend who deiced to share Marisol's life with them. I don't know what I would do if something like this happened to me! I would be so angry!

This book is great! I'm really liking it. Its about two girls who are best friends and want to have a quincanera. Or a sweet 15. One of them, Magdalena is going to have her sweet 15party. Her parents have been saving for it ever since she was born. But Marisol on the other hand, is broke but she really wants to have her quince to. She Marisol decides she is going to do extra work so she can afford the dress. I can relate to these girls because I had my quine done two years ago. The day was fantastic. I got to ride in a limo to the party hall, a beautiful dress and a huge party. I loved it . So I understand why Marisol wants the party so much. But it is really expansive and it must be sad to want a quineanera and not be able to afford it.

This is a great book. Many things happen day to day. Mostly dealing with friends and school. Rachel had many friends. She feels they are like family to her. She explains how she met them and how special they are to her. They tell each other everything! I can relate to her because I know what it feels like to have someone always to lean back on. Through ups's and downs. She mentions how they hang out all the time and the adventures they have been through. Like when they snuck out of their house one day at a sleep over.

The Frog Princess pages 27-37 Dec.4

This book is becoming quite interesting since a lot of odd things are happening. Just the fact that Emaralda is a princess and her aunt is a witch is kind of crazy!! In the book Emeralda describes her aunts room to be the best room in her whole mansion. She says its warm and inviting . Unlike her whole house, which is cold,damp and generally gloomy. My house isn't gloomy or very cold, but I defiantly have a favorite room. My room! I feel great in there.Like I run the place.
